Africa Health ExCon 2026 focused on health sustainability, digital transformation, and strengthening healthcare systems across the continent, examining artificial intelligence, digital health, and local pharmaceutical manufacturing across more than 21 high-level panel discussions, specialized sessions, and technical workshops. Egypt’s Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stressed that Africa’s future in healthcare depends on moving from treating illness to building health, and from reactive systems to proactive models based on prevention, early detection, innovation, and digital transformation — emphasising that Africa has the human resources and scientific capacity to lead this shift.
