The Middle East and North Africa Health Policy Forum (MENA HPF) was pleased to participate in Wellcome’s High Level Dialogue on Rethinking the Future of Global Health, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 9 to 10 April 2026.
Representing MENA HPF, Dr. Maha Al Shalkamy contributed to discussions on the future of global health governance and was invited to provide opening reflections during a deep dive session on enabling regional health architecture. Her intervention highlighted key priorities, opportunities, and challenges facing the Middle East and North Africa region.
The Forum is proud to contribute regional perspectives to global conversations and remains committed to advancing inclusive, evidence informed, and regionally driven approaches to health policy and governance.
