The MENA HPF commissions three literature scoping reviews the thematic areas of Primary & Preventative Health Care, Health Financial and Social Protection, Political Economics of Health Policies in the region. Through these scoping reviews the MENA HPF will further contribute to the use of synthesized evidence in health policy decision-making and practice in the region for ultimate goal of better health of citizens of the region. These scoping reviews will map the state of current knowledge in these three themes in the region, reveal to knowledge users where there is or is not strong evidence to inform their decisions, and serve as a guide researchers to new avenues for research in the next 3- 5 years.
