The statement described health workers who treat the wounded, deliver medicines across conflict lines, and keep hospitals running even as electricity, water, and essential supplies run low, warning that these same workers are increasingly being killed for the work they do. WHO demanded an end to impunity for attacks against health workers and humanitarian personnel, alongside stronger support for responders who remain on the frontlines of the world’s most severe emergencies.
