Biography:
Professor of Epidemiology and Dean of Health Sciences at AUB, is a leader in healthy aging and cardiovascular health research. Co-founder of the AUB University for Seniors and the Center for Studies on Aging. She has over 240 publications and has received several international awards, including the 2020 L’Oréal-UNESCO and 2023 WHO prizes. She serves on the WHO Science Council and holds a PhD from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
