Biography:
Professor of Economics, Chair of the Sector of Economic and Political Studies -Higher Council of Universities, Vice President- Cairo University Alumni, Chair of the Arab Health Economic Forum and editor in Chief (Review of Economics and Political Science (Scopus and web of science). Was appointed Vice President of Cairo University, Director of the Center for Financial and Economic Studies and Research (CU), was member of several boards of national entities such as the National Insurance Organization and the Electricity Holding Company. Received the Honorary Award for Women in Social Science-National Academy of Science and Excellence Award- Cairo University. Led several national and international projects for World Bank, UNICEF, UNWOMEN, UNDP, UNFPA, GIZ, ESCWA, …. Have several publications in national and international journals, and edited several international books in the area of Social Economy, Human Resource Development, Poverty, Population, Health Economics, Small Business, Structural Adjustment…..
